Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 was a South African television journalist and war reporter. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan called her factually inaccurate and politically biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my 10 years of watching." In 2019 she was hired by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative media company. 4] She joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News, in January 2020. In March 2022, she said she was "dumped" by the network. Logan worked during her studies as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she was hired by Reuters Television in Africa, predominantly as an executive producer. After four years she decided to venture into freelance journalism. She was assigned as a reporter, editor/producer and editor/producer for Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her homebase, where she reported on events such as 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the war between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
